Help in choosing IB subjects for engineering.

<p>Hello everyone, I was wondering if I have chosen the correct subjects to study engineering in the US. The subjects that I have chosen are:

  1. Math HL
  2. Physics HL
  3. Economics HL
  4. Arabic B HL
  5. English A2 SL
  6. Chemistry SL</p>

<p>Do you think that I am on the correct track? Do you have any other suggestions?</p>

<p>It might be better to have Chemistry HL rather than Economics/Arabic</p>

<p>Unless you have a special interest for economics or hatred for chemistry, drop econ for chem.</p>

<p>Where are you going to school and what is their policy on IB credit? Also, what type of engineering?</p>

<p>Econ would be more useful that chemistry in some fields - Industrial Engineering comes to mind. On the other hand, a Chemical Engineer would obviously favor chemistry over Econ.</p>
