<p>i already posted this question on another thread, but here it goes again:</p>
<p>i am on the waitlist and i am international. thus i don’t think they’ll be able to reach me by phone (on the application, i did put my phone number, but there was no room for all the numbers - such as country code, area code). do you guys think that is a negative for me?</p>
<p>let’s say, for instance, they’re reviewing my things and decide to call me to know if i’m interested. they try to call me but don’t reach me. what do you think they’ll do? will they just skip my application and start looking at someone else’s or will they e-mail or snail mail me? </p>
<p>just want to add a little note: i VERY EXPLICITLY wrote on my waitlist letter that if i got accepted i would enroll. don’t know if that changes things, but i did say it (and i do mean it).</p>
<p>i’m wondering if i should call the office and tell them my entire phone number - however, i’ve already contacted the office enough since i was waitlisted and don’t really want to sound too intrusive…</p>

<p>I’ve been having the EXACT SAME worry as you. I’m international too, and I couldn’t fit my phone number in either. However, the deal is this: they generally don’t call intl students, they e-mail us, and to most of the students admitted from the waitlist, they’ve generally been e-mailed, too. Only a couple were called before they were mailed. I wouldn’t worry too much about the phone call, because if they’re interested in you, they’ll definitely not let a stupid thing like a phone call get in the way–they’ll contact you otherwise. Personally, it doesn’t seem like many internationals are getting off the waitlist–atleast, from the 12 people I’ve encountered on CC who got in, I don’t think any were intl.</p>
<p>I’m in the same position as you–and don’t worry so much, dude, tomorrow (15th), we’re all pretty much going to be told if we’re in, out, or on the extended waitlist anyway.</p>

<p>are internationals waitlists also dependent on the amount money have left?? in terms of financial aid? becuase I am asking for a lot of money :(</p>

<p>they called my school college counselor instead of me, and i heard about my acceptance through him by email… i’m sure the school profile in your application will have the exact phone number of your school, and they’ll contact you that way </p>
