HELP! Keep getting a 2040-2070

Guys, this is so frustrating… I prepped for the SATS last summer and plateaued at a 2040. I got this score on at least 3 practice tests in a row. Then I gave it a break for about 2 months (lol i got lazy) and took it again. Literally got the same exact score. Recently took it, was expecting a higher score since I felt like my intelligence in junior year has gone up. 2070 (Collegeboard online test 2) ***… (Breakdown 660M (I don’t even know), 720 CR (better than I’ve ever done, 690 W). Honestly, I dont know what I’m doing wrong. I have tutors to explain to me what I do wrong and I feel like I understand what they’re saying. Is there any hope left?

lololol
There’s nothing wrong with a 2040! That’s a great score that most kids would be envious of. Luckily, math is the easiest section to do better in because to get better all you need to do is practice A LOT. Same goes for writing. GL

haha. that’s an awesome score - well done!!
but, i know what you mean!! if you can afford a private tutor, i’d recommend that - sometimes it’s just about having someone tell you where you’re going wrong…

This might be stupid but can’t you go back and check the questions that you got wrong, then learn what you’re doing wrong? By the way, your scores are nothing to be ashamed of!

Just know what you git wrong… and make sure u never remake that mistake… U don’t even need a tutor for that…
and with practice, you’ll get waaaay better XD

I found out on another post that you can log into the CB website and drill down into your actual scores even further!! Apparently you can even see your essay!!???

Can anyone confirm???

On another note, it sounds like you’re finding it hard to take the test, as opposed knowing the material on the test… my tutor runs me through strategies / tricks and they help a lot!!!

Good news is, she told me to look at a similar way to study, but online - edrolo.com - it’s pretty good… just gotta find some cash to buy full access!!!

Your tutor should be proud that you’re going around the CC forums and advocating her website.

Yes, you can read scores of each individual topic tested on the SAT on the College Board website. You can even read your own essay. Visit the My SAT website you access these features.

perhaps that is the score that you need to be content with.

Same here I am so Fking **ed. ALL I WANT IS A 2200

^ same here… as u can clearly see ( I got so obsessed, I called myself 2000+… srsly)
But I swear it’s so therapeutic… whenver anyone calls me 2200 my heart skips a beat… :D

Hey, I’m scoring a 660-700 on math and around a 2050-2100 overall. I got some real good material, so let me know if you (or anyone else) want to work together and study. I’m taking my test in June.
