I will be flying up to Ohio soon for my overnight visit at Kenyon. I have an interview a few hours after I arrive. What should I wear?

Nice slacks, almost anything except jeans. Similar with the shirt; no t-shirts… any other normal shirt, except maybe flannel or other “rugged” outdoors shirt (but that might be okay too). Shoes that match your slacks and shirt. Kenyon students are relatively tidy and unpretentious.

A coat and tie are not necessary, unless it is really your thing. Kenyon students generally are not preppy but if you are, that’s okay. Definitely don’t wear a suit. X_X

I am less than an hour from Kenyon. The weather here is in the mid-50s during the day. Any nice jacket will be fine. Kenyon is sort like the most perfect summer camp. So attire normally is relaxed, but not sloppy.

Oh I should add that I am a girl. :)

Ah… Why did I not think of that? :-?

Okay, then I can just say… be yourself. Girls at Kenyon mostly wear whatever they want. Dresses are surprisingly common, but usually casual, not dressy. Seems like a fourth, or maybe even a third, of girls wear a dress or skirt on any given day (except maybe in winter). Slacks and tights are also normal. Kenyon girls generally go easy on the make up. Very few high fashion types. Somehow, I think you will be fine.
