help! math one vs math two sat subject test

I'm planning on applying early action to Boston College... all that's left is my subject tests. 2140 regular SATs, 3.9 GPA, lots of community service. My subject tests are Saturday morning, and I was wondering how bad it would look to do well on the math one instead of poorly on the math two (as I know I would do).

If you have the math background to take math II then I would suggest taking it. Although you assume you would do worse on II I would make the general presumption that that is not true. The curve on II is much more lenient, making it much easier to receive high scores. You can miss, on average, six questions on II and receive an 800, while on math I a single incorrect answer will most likely bring your scaled score down.
