My very good friend is returning home to my country for only 3 weeks - I need a list of movies to watch together with her.

Currently I’m thinking:
Kung Fu Panda
Incredible Hulk
The Happening (heard that it really sucks. What happened to M Night?)
blablabla Zohan
Get Smart (we just really need our fix of Steve Carell)

Anything else opening in the next 3 weeks?

I heard Incredible Hulk was pretty good and that the Zohan movie sucked. I think Carrell was funny in the 40 Year-Old Virgin, but hasn’t been funny since that movie.

Movies Coming Out Soon
Wall-E is a Pixar film, so more than likely it’s going to be really good, or at least watchable. Comes out June 27th.

Will Smith is some sort of alcoholic superhero in Hancock. Will Smith’s movies are usually pretty good. Comes out July 2nd.

Hancock look like just another July 4th week Will Smith movie, probably worth watching.

Wall-E has a very interesting plot, so I would check it out.

Incredible Hulk is a must.

I would avoid Zohan and the Happening, lol.

i also have heard many times that The Happening really sucks, that it ranks near the bottom of M Night’s works.

Its too bad that youll miss The Dark Knight by like a week, that will be by far the best movie of the summer.

these would be my top picks:

The Incredible Hulk
Indiana Jones
Hellboy II (Opens July 11, probably too late)
Wall-E (supposed to be the best pixar movie in a long time)

Kung Fu Panda looks just like a generic animated movie (like madagascar or over the hedge) that was made just to get some quick cash from the kid audience.

I guess you could go see Zohan and Get Smart, though they look more like slapstick than actually that funny.

And yea the Happening is supposed to be pretty bad, theres actually a quote from Shyamalan around somewhere with him saying the movie is “the best b-movie you’ll ever see” like he crapped it up on purpose.
