Note:

I don’t think I’m forgetting anything, but I’ll update this in case I find out that I am.
I’m going to take a couple SAT Subject tests soon, by the way.

I’m currently a high school junior, by the way, in case I didn’t mention that.

So what do you think some safeties, matches, and reaches are for me?

These are some that I’m most interested in hearing about my chances for:

Sarah Lawrence College
University of Maryland College Park
Duke University
NC State Raleigh
American University
University of Massachusetts Amherst
Amherst College
Hampshire College
New York University
Boston University
Wake Forest University
Bates College
Bowdoin College
Emory University
Vanderbilt University
Tulane University

Feel free to add in some others & be brutally honest, thank you!

One more thing:

Class difficulty key (in order from easiest to hardest):

No prefix = Standard
Honors = Honors
GT = Gifted & Talented
AP = Advanced Placement

Your list is peppered with unrealistic schools (Duke, Amherst, Bowdoin, Vandy, Emory) but also has several you should get into.

I did a mix like that on purpose.

Which Amherst is unrealistic?

Amherst College, University of Massachusetts Amherst, or both?

Is that a serious question? If you’ve done the slightest bit of homework, you wouldn’t have to ask. Amherst college is one of the hardest private schools in the country to get into. UMass Amherst is an average public college.

UMass Amherst is private? Really?

I was about to say… lol

I would figure Amherst College is too hard, but UMass Amherst I was iffy on

It’s school talk, relax

I was iffy on UMass since I’m out of state, that’s all

They like OOS students as they pay much more.

Private loans, yayyyyyyyy!

Wh not avoid schools where those will be necessary?

Because I like Massachusetts, and the LACs up there seem to be too tough to get in to.
