Help me decide: UT Dean's Scholars or Grinnell

I need help deciding whether to attend the Dean’s Scholars (natural science honors) program at UT-Austin or Grinnell College. I’m planning on majoring in either chemistry or physics. I received a nice scholarship from Grinnell but Grinnell is still about $10000 more than UT, where I only received a one time $1000 scholarship. I’m a little apprehensive about the cold weather in Iowa, but I figure I’ll be able to get used to it eventually. I’d appreciate any opinions you have on where I should attend.

bump …

I would choose Grinnell, especially if you are considering the sciences. Grinnell has one of the best chemistry and physics departments in the country.

Grinell is Ausome, a friend of mine is going there, although Iowa isn’t exactly where i want to spend the next 4 years of my life

You might want to consider the social atmospheres of the two schools, because they’re very, very different.
