Help me decide which college to attend!

I have been accepted into JHU, CMU, UC Berkeley, Georgia Tech, and Rutgers (my state school), all for chemical engineering. I have also been accepted in to the Ernest Mario PharmD program at Rutgers. I intend on majoring in chemical engineering, but my interests are still rather open, especially towards biochem/pharm/pre-med.

Here are my costs for each college:

JHU: EFC = $62,618
CMU: EFC = $64,550
Berkeley: EFC = $54600
Georgia Tech: EFC = $42,314
Rutgers: EFC = $15,400

My current understanding is that Berkeley is the best for chemistry in general, but one side of me wants to attend JHU for its biochem. Thoughts?

Depends. If you are sure you want to be a pharmacist, PharmD saves you some headache. If not, Berkeley is pretty much tops for engineering/science in that list.

Rutgers. The other school are too expensive & are not worth double/triple the price. You shouldn’t be paying more than $40K for college. Anything under $30K is good financially.

Thanks for the advice guys! Bump.

What do your parents say about the costs?
