what major are you interested in? are you social or not? big sports/small sports? party scene? etc.

i’m interested in business and astronomy
definitley social and into the party scene

seattle isn’t hard to get into, but i know a couple of people who go there, and they love it. plus, the party scene at UW is huge, and they say they usually end up there.

UCSC is totally different from all the rest of the UC’s. you should visit before you consider it. and Oregon rocks, but i liked it about the same as Seattle. they’re just different.

P.S., i got into Oregon, Seattle too

You shouldn’t choose a college just based on your major. However, if you are interested in astronomy you should definitely check out UC Santa Cruz. They’re pretty much the strongest department in the country.
There isn’t a big party scene - or rather, people are always partying but in small groups. There are no frats, which I think is awesome.
