<p>I would write it this way:</p>
<p>I loved the quirky dentist James Jr. and the funny farmer Bill Bane and his wife Jane.</p>
<p>Instead of the first “and” I would write “along with.”</p>
<p>I loved the quirky dentist James Jr., and the funny farmer Bill Bane with his wife Jane. Or perhaps at the end “the funny farmers Bill and Jane Bane.”</p>
