Hey All,

First time posting… just wondering what the esteemed posters on this site think of my resume. I have no specific colleges in mind to apply to (I’m a HS Junior), but am wondering what an acceptable range is, from safeties to reaches.

Background:
I go to a dual-curriculum parochial (religious) school, meaning I have extra religious classes in addition to your standard Math, Science, English etc. This also means my school has a very limited Honors/AP offerings because of the size. All this aside, we are quite competitive and each year send at least 10 kids to top schools. There are about 80 kids in my graduating class, and I am in the top 15 (percentagewise, not great, but given the caliber of the school, not too shabby)

Scores:
SAT CR: 790
SAT M: 610
SAT W: 640 (didn’t finish my essay, that should go up on a retake)

Academics:
GPA: 3.7
Classes: AP Eng, APUSH, Honors Spanish(4yrs), Honors Hebrew (4yrs- fluent), Honors Math (1yr)

EC:
Mock Trial (4 yrs; Captain 1yr)
Theater: Leads in 3 musicals, Supporting Roles in 2 plays, Produced 1 play
A Capella Choir: Featured soloist, “Best Soloist” nominee at the International Competition of High School A Capella semifinals (4 yrs)
Student Council: Class Rep. (2 yrs) Student Body VP (1yr)
Yoga

Summers:
Trip to international camp in Hungary
Working on a farm together with inner city kids
Work 4 weeks in a soup kitchen
Internship at software start-up

I anticipate very good recs and an above-par essay.

Personal Stats:

Anything else?

I’m looking in the range of:

Is this too high? Am I looking in the wrong sorts of places? Any guidance is appreciated!
