Help me find a school!

I am new to CC and looking for a college. I am a junior at a private high school in Seattle. I’m looking for a university that has a good political science program and offers Modern Greek classes.

I took the SAT and got a 2170. (710 M, 730 V, 730 CR)

thanks,

I ran a search for schools that offer Modern Greek.

The list is relatively short, but includes schools such as…

Barnard, Boston College, Boston University, Dartmouth, DePaul, Georgetown, Harvard, Kenyon, Loyola Marymount, McGill, Mary Washington, NYU, Ohio State, Stanford, Purdue, U Arizona, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, U Chicago…

^That should be a good blend of matches, safeties, and reaches.

Do those schools offer Modern Greek as a major or just have classes on it?

grk, a collegeboard search turned up that these schools have a Modern Greek major:

Barnard, Boston University, Butler University, Calvin College, Catholic U of America, Central Christian College of Kansas, Colgate, College of Wooster, Columbia, Fordham U, Howard U, Loyola Marymount U, NYU, Ohio State Columbus Campus, Rhodes College, St. Louis U., Tulane, UMichigan, University of New Hampshire, University of the South, Wheaton, and Wright State University.

Modern Greek is, unfortunately, pretty rare. I wish more places offered it. Even Greek study abroad options are limited, it’s very annoying!

I took some private lessons from the guy who teaches Modern Greek at UF, so they have classes, but a perusal of their site indicates no major.

The ones I listed just offer classes, I think.

Thanks.

What would you say are the best universities on that list?

On world changers list,

Dartmouth
Georgetown
Harvard
McGill
NYU
Stanford
UC Berkeley
U Chicago

are all spectacular. The others are good, too.
