Help me Find Schools please!!!

I’ve come up with a list of potential schools I’m applying to next fall.

GPA: UW-3.42 W:3.6/3.65ish
ACT: 31 will take again aiming for 32-33

EC’s- plenty of political volunteering and some hospital volunteering, lacrosse 3 years, basketball, school honor society

Recs: most likely great recs from teachers and counselor that love me and another rec by a Illinois state rep. if needed.

First gen college student, iranian-American, financial aid will be needed

Some colleges(reaches mainly?) I’m thinking about are:
Tulane(probably #1) , Denver(safety), UMass-Amherst(loved it), boston college, BU, UMiami, USC, Colgate, Elon, UCSB(will be expensive :frowning:

Any other suggestions? And please give feedback on my small list of potential schools and any suggestions appreciated.

Can you afford Denver? A safety must be affordable. UCSB will be $50K/year. Are your parents willing to pay that? ETA: I just saw this -

Drop UCSB. You will be expected to pay the $23K OOS portion there AT LEAST. Let it go. You would get a good scholarship at Alabama. Go to the FInancial Aid forum and look at the pinned threads for other options. How much can your family afford? Have you run the Net Price Calculator on each school’s web site?
