I’m not reading the whole thread but wanted to pass on a good idea: my elderly aunt absolutely loves a pillow I ordered for her from Shutterfly. I had it made with a happy family photo in color on one side (my aunt and uncle with their grown but still young children) and a happy casual black and white photo of my aunt and uncle pre-children on the other side. It came out great.
@“Youdon’tsay” , The givers text the photos to the nanagram company and they print them out and send hard copy photos to the older person, ie Grandparent
Oooooh! That makes sense.
Dh likes this better, but I’m not sold: https://www.skylightframe.com/
@“Youdon’tsay” - I thought about that for my Mom but the reason I like nanagram is that Mom gets a physical picture to stare at, and share with others, for as long as she wants. Also the reminder e-mail is awesome. I can guarantee that we would not remember to add a picture to a virtual screen. Nanagram actually sends a reminder a week before publishing date, then another one a day or two before and then one saying they’ve been sent. Oh, and when someone sends a picture or two, it texts that picture(s) to the big group so we know who sent what.
Yeah, dh just thinks that the cost per photo is so high, and when he put it that way, then, yes, he’s right I could print out five photos a month and send to her for less money. Killjoy.
