Hi All,
So I am making some changes to my course schedule for next semester, and I have to choose between a Spanish course and an anthropology course (both electives). The Spanish course is known to be relatively easy, and is community service-based with several writing assignments throughout the semester, while the anthropology is a bit more rigorous. I already have some fairly challenging courses, including calculus, computer science, and syntax, and I am in the University’s honors program. I also have a part-time job doing some software development. The thing is, I am applying for transfer to Harvard and Brown for my Junior year, and I know they look at class rigor in the admissions process. Do you think taking the easier community service class could hurt my chances of getting in? I will be taking only 17 credits with the Spanish course, or 18 with the anthro.
Thanks for your help!
