<p>I recently submitted my Vassar supplement transfer essay, “Why Vassar.” I felt like it was a very strong essay until in the very first sentence I realized I had said “This past summer, while visiting family in upstate New England …” uhhhh! upstate New England doesn’t exist…do you think this will count against me heavily?</p>
