Help me narrow down my college application list plz!!!

Hey guys, Im an international student and I live in Peru. I have to apply as a transfer as I went to a university for 1 semester. Right now my college list is quite big (21 colleges) and Id like to apply to around a maximum of 11. I just cant seem to narrow down my list.

I want the university to have a nice social scene, good academics, good location (I prefer the suburbs and a city/big town near, but i dont wanna disqualify the ones in urban areas), outdoor activities, and a good music scene specially if theres cities around and not in the middle of nowhere because I play the drums and want to join/form a band. Good weather is a plus but not so necessary. I wanna study marketing management and possibly minor in music performance/photography and or cinematography.

My GPA is my weak point, but its not accurate because my high school doesnt use GPA but I think its around 2.7-3.0. My college doesnt either and its probably around the same as high school (keep in mind i just went to university for 1 semester). I have a 1920 SAT superscore, 600 CR, 670 maths and 650 writing.

Is it even worth it to apply to U of Miami, Boston University, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Christian University with my stats?

Also, I was quite reclutant to adding universities from Louisiana/New Orleans because of the hurricanes but I still did. Am I being dumb? And is the city nice post-katrina? is it all reconstructed? Im a bit apprehensive but I like the fact that New Orleans has a great music scene.

Heres the list:

Arizona State U
Boston U
Colorado SU
DePaul U
Florida SU
Loyola U New Orleans
Michigan SU
Ohio SU Columbus
Southern Methodist U
Texas Christian U (how religious is this uni?)
Trinity U
Tulane U
U Central Florida
U Colorado Boulder
U Illinois Urbana
U Miami
U Minn Twin Cities
U Missouri Columbia
U Oklahoma
U Oregon
U Wis Madison

I used the princeton review best colleges book, U.S. News rankings, college prowlr, and studentrev to gather this list.

Please let me know which universities you would delete and why. Also, let me know if you have any information about this unis.

Thanks!

Unless really cold weather is NO problem at all, I’d drop Minnestoa(Twin Cities) and Wisconsin (Madison). With that GPA, I’m guessing you’d have a tough time getting in the business programs at Illinois, Tulane, Wisconsin, Boston U, Southern Methodist U., and Miami.

yep basically most of those you stated are my " dream " schools which i know i have a very low chance of getting in, thanks for the help bro

bumppppppp

The places that have the most going on in terms of film are probably NY, CA and FL. I’d keep the three FL schools. Your list looks very eclectic and it’s difficult to tell what attracted you to these particular schools (other than the ones in New Orleans). We will need more info in order to help you narrow it down.
