Time to appointment is different for everybody. Try to be patient or you will become very frustrated. But, if you get the appointment, you are in for sure (pending no change in med. status, criminal activity, school performance, etc.).

I received my appointment two weeks after my file was complete. However they can take up to April or even later. Depends on the strength of your file and the other people in your district competing against you.

At the risk of being the bearer of bad news, unfortunately nothing in live, including “In for sure,” is never a certainty- even up to I-Day, where you are again screened medically and vision tested. In the past there have been appointed candidates sent home that very day, within hours of reporting, for unreported medical conditions, color blindness and injuries incurred prior to I-Day that prevent participation in plebe summer activities, etc. Let your grades slip during your final semester at school and you will find yourself at risk as well.
Stay safe- stay healthy- keep focused on those grades!

senoritis: not a good idea. stay focused, as hard as that is admist all the excitement of graduation, proms, college prospects, etc…the senior year is just as important as the junior year, and grades - right up to the final ones in June- are looked at and considered. Take nothing for granted would be the best advice I can offer! Best of luck!

I can say I have major senioritis. But I’m happy to say this year is easier than last year for me (though my schedule says otherwise) so my grades stay good. yay for senior teachers!

yup I have senioritis too. I’m waiting until the end of second quarter to slack a little. I’m sure usma or usna don’t care if I get a few B’s third and fourth quarter.
