<p>You can try explaining why you have such a low GPA and such high test scores. I think you qualify as a special circumstance. If you haven’t applied, include it. If you already applied, I would contact the college ASAP and let them know to possibly increase your chances.</p>

<p>I think you still have a shot depending on where you applied. I got in with a 2.6 UW and 2090 SAT although I am instate. I agree in that you should send something explaining your bad grades. Did you apply early? That might have helped me out a little too.</p>
<p>Yes and do it soon. The later you wait, the lower the chance. You left out some very important information! Make sure you tell them about your situation and struggle. It seems like you’re willing to work your way up with passion!</p>
<p>although i can say its hard to tell, i have a friend who got in with a 2.5 and high SAT scores. i was surprised and happy to hear he got in. its totally luck tho in my opinion cus i kno another person who didnt get in with a 3.1
