<p>Hey guys. Next year, I will be attending Groton School. For my art course, I want to take an instrument… but I can’t decide which one to take! I have basically no musical background. I am kind of leaning towards the trumpet. If anyone can help me with my decision… please do so! Thanks so much.</p>

<p>How adventurous do you want to be? If you want to play in an ensemble, trumpet’s a fine idea. If you’re looking for something more exotic that you might not be able to find at home…I had a friend who took sitar lessons to fulfill part of her arts requirement (not at Groton), and it was an amazing experience for her. Bagpipes are also neat.</p>
