Help me Rutgers University

The admission stats for Rutgers have been posted online. There may be a link upthread. Nobody can really tell you more than that.

Where is the up thread? Sorry, I see that it’s online.

Google Rutgers class profile, Rutgers admission stats or anything like that.

It’s impossible for anyone here to guess your chances based on what you’ve shared. Given that you missed the early deadline, your chances at Rutgers are diminished. Please make sure you have safer options.

I applied to Rutgers for rolling admission very early this month, I think like January 1. I am almost done submitting all my materials they need for application review. I applied to New Brunswick. Do you know the probability that I will be accepted? It’s one of my top schools.

Know nothing about you - to answer that.

@Rais2016zzz could you please do a chance me/match me thread which will give us some information about you…GPA, SAT score, ECs, LOR, possible major, whether you are in or out of state for Rutgers, amount your parents will pay for you annually to attend college, etc. Please complete the whole template.

Hopefully someone will link your chance me/match me here so we can all see it.

I guess my first question is…why did you wait until January to submit this application to a rolling admissions university?

And this I am almost done submitting all my materials they need for application review. Until your application is complete, you will not get any decision on admission. Get the rest of your materials submitted tomorrow.

I have not applied earlier because I wasn’t in the states during the early decision and regular decision deadlines, and Rutgers becomes Rolling admisssions right after December 1. I have already submitted all my materials to them before, but they told me to update my senior year grades yesterday and I have already done that. I posted this on Chance me, but no one replied. Also, Rutgers doesn’t take LOR, but they do want to your SAT and GPA, which my mines is okay. I am out of state and my major is biology. I live like an hour away from Rutgers New Brunswick.

You haven’t posted your unweighted GPA or the courses you’ve taken and their rigor on any of the seven threads you have created. Posters can help you, but you have to give us information to chance you. How does your HS counselor categorize Rutgers for you? Would it be affordable for you as an OOS student?

And to answer the question on your other thread about when you will hear back from Rutgers, no one here knows that. Does the portal show that your application is complete?

What’s Plan B if you don’t get in? Focus on that once the Rutgers application is complete.

Yes the portal shows me that its complete. Some of the schools that I applied to is under review. I have not received my unweighted GPA and I have taken a mixture of AP and Regents courses. My counselor categorizes that as a safety school and yes it is affordable for me.

The Rutgers application is complete. If I don’t get in, I am going to be really upset since I really like the school.

I posted this on Chance me, but no one replied

If you completed the above template, could you please link it here. If not, can you please do it…and link it here.

These applications you describe opened up December 1. If you had internet access at all, you could have applied from abroad.

Did you apply to other colleges also? I hope so.

Without sharing any more concrete information with the forum, you won’t get a better “chance me” than this. Good luck to you!

The rolling admissions open up in December 1 for Rutgers University, which I am fully aware of. However, I had problems with my high school transcripts and senior year semester grades, which is why I submitted my application on January 1. The deadline for their rolling is January 15th and I submitted everything by then, but my senior year updated grades was what they wanted so I had to update the Self reported transcript.

I will share more information with the correct template.

The applications opened up much, much earlier than December 1. Probably in August. Rutgers suggests applying BEFORE Dec 1 for maximizing consideration. Because of this, I’m not convinced it is a safety for you.
