Help me strengthen my applications for college. (Living in the US, not a citizen)

I am very aware of this, I’m pretty sure I will get one too if we get approved before I turn 21. I’m hoping and praying its before I go to college because it would make things so much easier, but at this point who knows?

Yes! This is why I have agreed that Rutgers, if get in will be an amazing option for me. Not long ago I was very opposed to the school, but my views have slowly changed.

It’s a very good school!

TCNJ is an excellent school too. You can visit both to figure out which environnement you like best.

Yes of course, but Rutgers also has a dental school and Rutgers pulls in probably 30+ kids each year from my district so connections wise and “state flagship” I’m leaning more towards Rutgers.

Hmmm you’re in 9th grade. Stop leaning. The world will be different in three years and so will you.

I get the excitement but you are too early to the game and have yet to deliver a successful profile.

You will but come back to school selection after you’re well on your way.

On the one hand, I agree it is too early to actually being making decisions.

On the other hand, I think it is never to early to grasp that yes, if you can get the grades you need in HS to go to Rutgers in-state, that is already a great path to a comfortable professional class life, whether that ends up being dentistry or something else.

So personally, I think it is fine to see that as a goal in HS. And if something even better materializes, great.

A goal sure - because a path to Rutgers is a path to many places.

In HS, we were guided to the U of California requirements even though few went. But it was a great standard. It would help you most anywhere.

Great to have a goal. But OP has to deliver.
