okay so today i was talking with a friend, who got rejected from cornell ilr school. i, on the otherhand, got the GT offer for ilr. basically, our conversation went like this:

-friend: how the **** did you get the GT and not me? u lucked out.
-me: nah im just better than u.
-friend: hell no, i am sure i got rejected becuz i sent all my application stuff to the wrong address.
-me: uhm stop making excuses. where did u send all ur stuff then?
-friend: i sent all the recommendation, mid year reports, and additional letters/ award notices to the main central admission office, instead of sending them to the ilr admission office. as a result, the ilr admission officers probably didn’t get to see my updated list of awards and such.
-me: …you are supposed to send to the main admission office (it even sez so on the cornell website)… from there, all ur things get forwarded to the specific college…
-friend: NOOOO dude i heard this directly from an admission officer. u wanna bet on this?? i am completely sure that you had to send all ur app materials to the ilr office!
-me: yea let’s bet.

so who’s right? me or my friend? (obviously i’m right, but i need answers as evidences to prove my friend wrong ;D)
thanks all!
