EPTR, were those two products - the John Frieda Mousse and the Garnier creme “over the counter” products or bought at a salon???

I often hate blindly trying new hair products cause so many don’t seem to work at all.

Congratulations EPTR – may ever day be a good hair day for you!! :)

And, Emeraldkitty, I agree that ION dryers really do work better. I just bought a new one and it came with an ION brush–just used it for the first time yesterday and received several compliments on my hair so, who knew?? I guess there’s something to an ION brush too!

Collage, also my hairdresser said use the “warm” vs. “hot” setting. I like the ion brush too!

Abasket, yes! They were both found at the local Walgreens.

SJTH, in response to your products question, I use a product from abba called ‘gentle conditioner’. It’s a leave-in product that moisturizes my hair nicely and helps tremendously with the frizzies! I’m sure you know brushing curly hair isn’t the way to go as it contributes to the frizziness of your hair. Also, I find my hair does better with a couple of days of dirt on it–as opposed to daily shampoos…I spritz my hair with a spray bottle, add the gentle conditioner, give it a comb-through with my fingers and I’m off! I’ve also added a good squeeze of the conditioner to a spray bottle of water and created my own conditioning spray. I find it facilitates the curls and eliminates the frizzies. As you know, a good cut is essential! Good luck!

Panhandlegal,
Where do you get that product?

This is a great website to search hair, btw!!! Thanks. I’ve been pinning photos of the style I want to my Pinterest board so I can show my stylist!!

Which website, SteveMa?

EPTR-the one you posted your style on in your OP :D.

‘Gentle Conditioner’ by abba is available online and at Ulta. I usually purchase it from my stylist. Great stuff!

SteveMa,
Sorry, it’s been a long week!!! Lol.

Thanks, Panhandlegal!
