So, basically, I narrowed my choices down to Michigan and UCLA.
I’m planning on going to med school and I know that these two schools are almost at the same level academically… (that’s what makes me hard to choose between these two… )

I’ve lived in midwest for a long time and tired of monotonous life up here…
I want some changes in my life (like gong to CA!)
but then I heard that students don’t study much in LA and spend time hang out w/ ppl
(obviously, there’s much more things to do in LA other than studying… haha
)
i like to have social life too but if it’s too much then…:(

also, it’s not a big concern, but i heard that CA is doing really bad economically…
i’m getting a lot of loans from ucla so… i wonder what effect it’s gonna bring to me…

hmmmm… other factors to consider…
i haven’t done much research about UCLA yet but Michigan seems to have many great programs for science and engineering majors.

so my main factors are… campus life (housing, weather, activities, etc.) and pre-med programs (research, etc.)

i have no idea what campus life is like so if anybody visited either Michigan or UCLA (or both!!) any information would be helpful…

thanks!
