<p>In my opinion, it’s not a trick question. Just be honest.</p>
<p>Just about every one of my son’s college applications asked this same question. Some of his apps actually specified that they’re only asking for research purposes (trending) and that the answers would not be used in determining acceptance. I would think it’s not a trick question. More than likely, they just want to know their “competition.”</p>
