2, try hard on SAT CR! Bring it to 650+ and you may not have to send the unconscionable TOEFL anymore.

There’s no blanket introduction, but your intro paragraph should include these elements.

First, the best introductions start generally and become specific. For example, on a prompt about privacy in our time, I would start by talking about privacy generally for 1-2 sentences. I might mention that privacy is important to all people, or that I believe everyone has the right to privacy, or that privacy is an illusion we all need (depending on my position on the topic).

Next, mention the examples you’re going to use. “[source] shows us ___ about privacy” or something along those lines. Again, 1-2 sentences about the sources you’re going to use to prove your point.

Finally, your thesis. In a proper essay, you would spend a lot of time crafting your thesis. On the SAT, it has to be much quicker than that, so make sure you’ve decided on your standpoint and your arguments, then write 1-2 sentences to say your standpoint and what sources/examples/reasons you’ll use to support that standpoint.

Thanks guys.
is there anyone who has a good introduction ?
what about second question -> 2. do i have to get at least 100/120 on toefl ibt if college is required at least 100/120 ibt
then shouldnt i apply the college , which is required 100 ibt , if i get 90/120 or something like that ?

The TOEFL is usually a hard cutoff. If you are below the threshold, I wouldn’t apply.

As for the introduction, it entirely depends on what you are writing about. Don’t take someone else’s introduction and slap it in there; it likely won’t fit and also, it could get flagged for plagiarism.
