I am not sure what they would think… they probably don’t care but if they did they would probably think you are overly ambitious. Also, did you send your scores to them? Moreover, if you want to practice for the SAT why not just take a practice? Lastly, I would advise you to wait until junior year to start taking standardized tests.

you are stupid

It’s fine to take math at a cc, though you might do better to do something more interesting for the summer. Harvard is about a lot more than academics. It’s generally not considered wise to take the SAT much before junior year as the scores will be part of your permanent record. Better to practice with practice tests or the PSAT. 1580 is a pretty low place to start, I wouldn’t count on being able to get high enough scores by fall of senior year. My advice is to do a lot of reading. It doesn’t have to be heavy duty classics, but it should be written at a reasonably high level. Sci fi and fantasy are fine. I’d also try reading magazines that are written at a reasonably high level. (Scientific American, The New Yorker, The Economist etc.) Even if your scores don’t improve, there are plenty of other very good schools besides Harvard.
