<p>Hey, I’m in a HUGE crisis right now. I already got accept for UCLA BIZ ECON for fall '07. I’m taking Calculus 2 right now and I might receive a D in this class. I got an A in Calc 1. With this Calc 2 class I have just enough units to transfer (61 units). If I don’t get at least a C… will I get deferred from UCLA?!</p>

<p>What I would do is to tell them ahead of time if you could take it over summer IF you get a D. If you wait until the semester ends and you end up with a D, it’s very last minute. Let them know ahead of time so they can work with you.</p>

<p>just work really hard!! Cal2 is not that hard. talk to your instructor and ask him/her what you can do to get a C.</p>

<p>UC’s don’t do deferrments, unless you have EXTENUATING (font size: 72) circumstances, but even then, the chances are slim. The best route right now is to notify LA and let them know what measures you’re taking right now to correct it.</p>
<p>I’d recommend giving them a REALLY good reason as to what caused your grade to slip.</p>

<p>If you can transfer this year to UCLA, do it. Do not wait till next year if you don’t have to. Waiting a year means you’ll be doing nothing but taking calc 2 and you’ll just bum it.</p>
<p>I would do everything in your power to get a C or better. Getting a D or W will not give you credit for the prereq and totally get your admission rescinded.</p>
