<p>Downloaded the WRONG answer to one of the NYU supplement essays…am trying to fix the problem and emailed them the correct answer but no one has replied yet. Will this affect my chances in any way? Add to that, counselor sent his forms to WRONG school then resent it again…is this okay? So worried about all these blunders can’t sleep.</p>
<p>I don’t understand what you mean. Did NYU download the wrong answer to your supplement? That can’t be true. There is only version, the version that you submitted. What you submitted is what they will see. The fact that it is “wrong” is your mistake.</p>
<p>As for your schoolforms, have your counselor follow up with an email to the appropriate person and they will register the error and put it in your file. I had my counselor do the same when he made a mistake with my transcript, now everything is fine. </p>
<p>What happened is I copied the same answer to two different essays in the NYU supplement…emailed the correct essay answer but there is no reply yet which is adding to my worries. DO I need to call? Can’t sleep.</p>
<p>First, just sleep. They’ll get the correct answer and rectify the mistake. You should wait two more days max and if there’s no reply by email then give them a call. They must be getting a lot of emails atm. They check applications in order anyway so it’s not like your application is going to be the first they’re going to look at.</p>
<p>Make sure you email a direct representative (use the link I posted above to find the respective person) and not the undergraduate office because they take forever to respond.</p>
