I did a wind/solar energy project that won the first place at a local university.</p>
<p>Impressive rank and ECs. But anyway you can improve your SAT scores? I’d say you might have a chance.</p>
<p>UT is so difficult because of the 10% rule - and Texas is so big.</p>
<p>Read the “How UT chooses its (not top 10%) students” thread - this applies to everyone who is not a Texas top 10% kid: out of state kids, international kids.</p>
