HELP: My Chances

I want to apply to Washington University St Louis early, but I do not want to waste my only early application on a school I have no chance of getting into. I have to make this decision soon and am being really indecisive. Can you help?

My Statistics:
-I go to a relatively competitive private school in Florida- about 40 to a grade- our school does not rank.

  • Unweighted gpa: 3.68
  • Weighted gpa: 4.01
  • Sat: 640 math, 800 reading, 680 writing- 2120 total
  • AP’s:
    Language 4
    Psychology 5
    US History 4
    Human Geo. 5
    World History 4
    Literature next year
    European History next year
Almost all my classes where honors or AP
    Extracurriculars
  • Sports: played varsity lacrosse 3 out of 4 years
  • Volunteer
    Humane Society every week
Went to Japan to help with tsunami relief
  • Clubs
    Interact club 11th/ 12th grade
    -Awards
    AP scholar with distinction
    Honor roll every year
    -Extra Info.
I’m going to take the Sat’s one more time before applying so hopefully my scores will be higher by that point. Also, my gpa is lower than I want, but it has gone up each year. Last year (11th grade) it was a 3.75uw.
Don’t know if this makes a difference but I’m 25% Native American so can check that, as well as Caucasian, on the college app form. I’m not a member of the tribe, but my father is.

Thanks for helping!

Apply early I think it’s worth it. If you apply early it’s a high match/low reach for you. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1532897-linguistics-chances-updated.html

In order to be as competitive as you can, use first semester senior year to bump up your GPA a bit. Besides that, you’re a very qualified applicant. I agree that you should apply ED :)

Thanks for the posts!
P.S.
I also started book drive at my school in 11th/12th grade to collect books for local public schools that could not afford to supply their libraries. Forgot to add that to extracurricular list.

More chances please!!
