Help my friend - with her 1!

My friend (Not me, I've already posted that I got a 5) got a 1 on the AP Euro test. She got a B in the class, so definitely not expecting that. She said she studied, but is not that studious or serious a person, and I doubt she put in more than a couple dedicated hours.

1) Can she still ask for it to be rescored now?
2) In this situation, is it likely that something went wrong and she will get a higher score?
3) Can she retake the exam?

@CasaAtreides - Thanks for your great response! I'm a little confused thought. First it says that the multiple choice sheet will be scored by hand. Good. Then is says the multiple choice sections is not disclosed and scores are not available. Does that just mean that the individual section score is not available?

I can't say. Maybe yes, maybe no.

She can take it again next May.

I am personally acquainted with someone who is brilliant at English but scored a 1 on the AP exam. After having his exam rescored, the College Board still said that his real grade was a 1. I'm not too sure if rescoring will change things, but it's worth a try.

Please help out!
