Help My Pal Out: GED and CLEP

Howdy,

I have a pal who passed their GED and was looking into taking some CLEP tests.

This is a fellow who humbly passed their GED and I tried to be nice and help them with their final review for the testing a while back. If they told me of any of this way earlier, I could have been a bigger help, that is all I am saying.

They would like to take at least four CLEP tests or a maximum of six CLEP tests. He wants this to be his New Year Resolution and I think that cool.

I am to be moving after a while and I told my pal that I would at least help him get things organized with all of this. I would love to learn more of the application process for the year 2010 and these tests please. The odds are high I might grow confused, because I will be studying for and taking the GRE and MAT in the year 2010, so I would like to learn more of the CLEP(S) and be helpful now (prior to 2010).

They would like to go to Community College and major in Liberal Arts, nothing more. I have a feeling that he wants to see what he can do with the CLEP tests as a little test of faith if he could hack it as an online CC student. This fellow runs the register and does basic level stocking at the drug store I work for as a Pharmacy Tech and he studied for the GED by himself with two books.

What are either four or six CLEP tests that you guys think would really make a difference with regards to going from humbly passing the GED and desiring to go to CC?
