So here is my situation right now I am taking Hon. Physics(junior year) and I asked my teacher how far we get into the books and she told me we only finish mechanics. So here is my problem that only covers 1/3 of the subject test so my question to CC is what is the best way to cover that gap through self-study because i have already checked colleges to learn the rest of the topics covered but they require me to take the mechanics course before i can take Physics B, which is where most of the topics are covered
I am planning to take the test around june so i need to self-study for the rest of the test so what would be the best way to self learn the material i already tried learning from the book itself but i feel that i wont be able to learn all of mechanics and the rest of the material before july(since i need some sort of understanding for the mathematics such as kinetic energy) and that I will preoccupy myself with material that is not on the test

So what is the best way to prepare based off of my situation,

what topics should i start with that does not require much mechanics

or should i learn mechanics as i am learning the other topics, which i did with some of thermodynamics

if you notice any discrepancies in my situation please ask because i was rather rushed when i typed this

thanks in advance
