HELP! Need to advise daughter- is this too cliche?

<p>She has chosed prompt #6- topic of your choice. She had decided to write about her rather unsual passion. She is starting with the Mastercard priceless advertisement but plugging in the odd things used in her pastime. </p>

<p>What do you think…cliche? I thouht maybe she could start with dialogue related to her pastime.

<p>It’s not original. If it’s funny, that will make up for that. If it’s not funny, it will seem corny and dull.</p>

<p>Can she turn it into a well written essay, or is it just a list of clever one-liners? I think it is really a question of writing about her passtime in a compelling way.</p>
