Hi! I was looking to do the August 23rd SAT but I just discovered that all the seats are full for the nearest SAT locations. There’s 2 seats within a 50 mile radius but I don’t think I could make the distance, which is out of state, in the middle of the city. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should do? If I take the October SAT would it come back in time for EA/ED applications? This is not my first SAT for clarification, and I am an incoming senior.
Unfortunately, it seems like August SAT seats have been fully booked for a while for most locations. I think you’re actually pretty lucky that there are 2 seats within 50 miles, and I would probably take it if it is at all possible. August is the prime time.
I would also consider registering for the October test soon, if money is not an issue. It will be a really tight window, and will only be available for Nov 1 deadlines, but at least there’s a tiny window there.

So if I take it in October, and granted there isn’t any issues that delay rolling out the test results, the scores would be released by Nov 1st? Sorry - just clarifying 
Yes. Also, sometimes you can submit your application first, and submit supporting materials such as your SAT score after the application is already in. It’s less ideal, but possible.
