Help! No calculator!

I realized tonight that I can’t find my calculator anywhere! How hard is it to do the ACT math without one?

It’s doable, believe me. You might be out of luck on Pythagorean theorem questions and trig, but you could at least get a…25. Try to find one around the house, you’ll really need it.

EDIT: Make sure to use reasoning when picking answers. Round numbers to the best without changing them significantly. Do the quickest long division and multiplication of your life. Most of the ACT Math answers are NOT within 1 or 2 numbers from each other. In other words, you will know a right answer from a wrong one with or without a calculator.

I got an A on my chem midterm without a calculator. I was working as fast as a ■■■■.

If i were you, and there is no possible way to get a calc, phone a friend, you can BEG at the entrance of the test center and ask literally every1 there if they have an extra calc. chances are that they mite…good luck!!

Honestly, go from door to door in your neighborhood asking to borrow one. Do not take it without it. Your score WILL suffer, trust me…

Should my mode be set to radians or degrees?

Most likely degrees, though, I think I have seen some radian questions. Degrees are most common.

A friend gave me a calculator at 11 PM haha. But unfortunately it was not a graphing calculator, oh well… It was better than nothing.

Yeah, you wouldn’t really need to graph anything.
