HELP?! NOT NU RELATED (kind of)

So my mom went to the Tax Lady (lol) and she asked if she made any purchases online.
I know for 100% any non-taxed things would be on Amazon.

Does my mom need to give the information and pay the taxes?
Do the sellers need to pay the tax (which I kind of read on Amazon) or do I?
Most purchases said, “0” on tax?

If I understand you correctly, you are asking whether or not you should listen to your Tax Lady? Easy answer, yes, listen to them, they are a professional. You go to a MD (health professional) for health issues, you pay someone to prepare your taxes, because that is what they do.

BTW - This might be a new issue. I use TurboTax, and was prompted this year about on-line purchases, and that has not happened in previous years.

LOL I know I have to pay them if I didn’t but I’m just asking if I paid the taxes. I talked to a lady from Amazon and she kept telling me if it said “0” I am fine then prompted me to Amazon’s FAQ where it said sellers include sales tax or are responsible for it. I just wanna make sure she’s correct.
