<p>Hey College Forum, I am a new member to the Forum but, so far it is very HELPFUL! I wanted to ask all of you what are my possible options for Universities/Colleges. Im currently a Junior attending Pacific Palisades Charter HS with a UC gpa of 3.3 (working on getting it to 3.6 by the end of spring semester). Im currently in Ap Bio, honors U.S history, english 11, business law, Honors Physics, and Italian 3. I have done swimming my 9 and 10 grade, cross country 9,10,11 grade. I have had to give up sports in order to keep my grades up due to the fact that i live 1 hour away from my current HS, usually getting home around 8pm and having to wake up at 5am with about 4 hours of hw a day. Next year I plan to take AP Calculus, AP chem, Honors Physiology, honors English, and honors gov/econ (no sports because i plan to keep my grades up). I have had to overcome some hardships in my life but, I am grateful that i attend a great school and that my hardships have inspired me to ascertain a career in the medical field. I grew up without my father, i have seen many of my friends die due to the poor area i live in and increased gang affilation around my neighborhood, and I come from a low income family. I shall be the first to attend University in my family. My dream school is UCSD but, weighing out the cirsumstances of how competitive it is for college admission, I am looking for other options. Please I ask for advice, recommendations, or suggestions of any Universities I can possible attend. Thank You guys again, any advice or critism will be helpful :)</p>
