<p>I reckon that Michigan’s Engineering programs in general are highly regarded than tOSU!! However, by 2020, additional (30% of the 300 = 90) new faculty hires will be added to the College of Engineering at tOSU I read, excluding the annual 250 faculties hire due to normal attrition.</p>

<p>ok. In addition to Scott Lab, there are numerous other labs associated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering including the Gas Turbine Lab and the nationally renowned Center for Automotive Research (CAR). </p>

I also read that there is going to be another major $250-million construction projection plan for the College of Engineering to replace its “main building” in 2016 with completion date set for 2020. *The $100-million benefactor for the College of Engineering at tOSU is secured, and the announcement should be made public soon!! Top-10 Engineering ranking by 2025 in all disciplines!! :)</p>
