pass the tradition on or pass on the tradition??I am actually editing my friend’s essays, but I am not sure what to do with this one…

Post the sentence, lol.

But w/o the sentence, I think it sounds better as “pass on the tradition.” (i.e. I hope to pass on the tradition…)
