<p>This thread is to help people fidn schools which fit them well. I have applied for transfer admission this year, but am not certain I will get in anywhere. So I want you to help me find some schools which I would like at all ranges of selectivity. </p>
<p>I want to be in a city, as I have lived in the country all my life, and well it sucks. Right now I intend to major in Communications and/or Film Studies, and Poli Sci. I would prefer a school that has down to earth people. I know people love the Ivy’s and stuff but to be honest I hate what they stand for as they are based around declaring a few lucky people “elite”. While they are great schools I just think the whole Ivy thing is a little silly, and more than a little pretentious (not that it matters as I could never get in anyway =D). So recap good programs in those majors and down to earth students. Quirky also = great. Any thoughts?</p>
