Help picking ED school for Bio/Creative Writing?

Hi all! The ED deadline is closing in on me and I’m kind of panicking as to which school I’d like to ED/EA etc. to. I’ve narrowed it down to a few choices, but I just can’t make the final decision.

I’d like to study biology or biochemistry and maaaaaybe go to med school in the future. I also love creative writing, which is kind of a contrast to bio, although I’m willing to sacrifice it if things get too overwhelming. I’m an Asian-American (Chinese) kid attending a competitive prep high school in New England. My standardized prep scores are as good as they can be and I take very rigorous classes, so I think I’m at least in the running for highly selective schools. Outside of class I mainly help run my school’s Asian affinity group, work on some some independent journalism/magazines, do technical theater, and paint (I’ll submit an art portfolio as well). Personality-wise, I’m quite social and outgoing but still unapologetically strange and nerdy. (I can never hide it!)

With this in mind, the schools I’m considering are UChicago, Columbia, UPenn, and Princeton, but I’m really open to any other school in the same general range as well, so more suggestions are welcome. There’s definitely a chance that I’ve overlooked a great school, since my college counselor really wasn’t helpful in those regards.

As an alternative to the schools you’ve listed, you may also want to look into some of the exclusively undergraduate-focused liberal arts colleges. Princeton from your group does, however, nicely approach this degree of emphasis.
