Guys i am going to UT next year to coLA but i am planning to transfer to McCombs after I have completed the first year and the required credits. Yesterday i read that in order to do the transfer you must have the credits and 24 hours living in the residence. what does 24/ in the residence exactly means?? do i have to live in the dorms? 'cause i already have some plans for an apartment
thanks

I think you misread that. 24 credit hours in residence refers to taking 24 credit hours from UT Austin. It has nothing to do with where you live, as far as I know.

Yeah i think you’re totally right…

You are definitely right. In residence means that you took the classes at UT rather than transferring credit from elsewhere. I don’t think it count credit by exam either.
