Hi, I’ve already been accepted into UCLA class of 2016. On the application, I mentioned I was taking General Physics a local community college during the spring for a class. However, after attending the class for 4 weeks, I was kicked out of the class because I was still technically on the waitlist and not enough people dropped out. I was able to start the same subject over at another community college because its term started much later. But when I look at my MyUcla, they are still expecting me to send transcripts from the first community college I attended. Do I have to notify them somehow that I changed to a different community college? If so, how? Is there a specific email address or phone number to contact them directly? Thanks

My daughter was in a similar situation - she wasn’t able to enroll in a cc class as planned. She followed the links posted by her offer letter (the same one you would use if, for example, you got a D or dropped a course) to explain that she was unable to take the class because of overcrowding at the community college. Since she already has 2 science classes, they told her that her admission would stand and changed the requirements in her offer letter. I would assume that you should do the same thing and get it approved right now - in advance - just to prevent any issues in August.

Thank you so much
