HELP!!! Plz read Bad test scores

I was wondering if you initially get a bad SAT score and you send it to an ivy league school through college board; but you are planning to take another SAT before your application is due; will colleges open up a file for you and automatically put your file in the "rejected" list as soon as they see your first SAT score?

lol no they wont do that.. they will take all your SATs into consideration and combine them for your best overall score..they probably wont even see your application till all your scores are in anyway..so there's nothing to worry about right now.. just study and do the better next time..

Just study a lot for the SAT and also take the ACT. Many people who bomb the SAT do better on the ACT.

thanks...i was worried for a while

Also, the ACT looks intimidating with its time constraints and its curve is not as lenient as the SAT's...is it really easier than the SAT?

i wouldnt say easier.. but it depends on the person.. some people do horrible on the SAT and good on the ACT..and vice versa.. so give it a shot..u might do pretty well..
