HELP Poetry Studs: Tone of "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost

<p>I need help on specifying the tone and undertones (and why i think so) for this poem. I understand it and already wrote up that part, but I can’t figure what tone to put. Here it is:</p>

<p>“Fire and Ice”—
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice…"</p>

<p>Here’s what I think:
Tone: Detached, flippant
Undertones: Understatement, fearful, comic</p>

<p>i suck at identifying poems’ tones. what do you think? thanks for the help…</p>
