Help Problem: Should I Send Update?

<p>I applied to Princeton RD. I’m an international student and I’m currently on a gap year. I planned on doing a AUTOCAD course for 6 months but the institution I applied for the course extended the starting date and it will finish by August 2nd week. By this time I would have to arrive to the US (If I get accepted to college!). So basically, I won’t be able to do the course. I mentioned in the Common app additional section that I will be doing the course, should I send Princeton an update stating I won’t be able to do the course? Will it effect my application? </p>

<p>I’m also building a Wordpress blog these days so if I don’t do the course I won’t be slacking off during that time! </p>

<p>Yes! And tell hem the exact reason and then what you are doing with that time. It is not you fault - do not worry. It would be worse if you did not tell them and they asked for verification later.</p>
